Salon Policy

To protect our loyal guests, our small business from loss of trade, and to ensure your appointment is relaxing and enjoyable, we have adapted the following salon policies.
We may use or waive the policy where we deem necessary.
We greatly appreciate your support and we endeavour to provide a professional service to you at every appointment.
 

  1. All new guests will be required to leave a $50-$100 deposit to secure their first appointment, which will be deducted from the cost of the service. Deposit will only be refunded when more than 48 hours notice is provided for cancellations.
  2. All guests booking in for a Colour correction or a Kerasilk smoothing treatment, require to leave a $100 deposit to secure their appointment. This will be deducted from the cost of the actual service. Deposit will only be refunded when more than 48 hours notice is provided for cancellations.
  3. All no-show guests, and cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment may incur a 50% fee of the appointment cost.
  4. We run by appointment, if you arrive late, we may not have time to provide that service, and if so, the cancellation policy may apply.
  5. Repeat no-show and late cancellations will be required to pay a deposit for future appointments.
  6. If you change your mind about what type of colour you are booked in for on the day, we may not have time to provide that service. We may need to reschedule your colour appointment to ensure the best possible result can be provided.
  7. All guests will be sent a confirmation SMS or receive a phone call prior to their appointment.
  8. Our Stylists provide professional colour results using the best products available. We cannot guarantee lasting results unless you are using recommended home hair care purchased from Mazee Hair or if you swim regularly.
  9. Guests behaving aggressive, rude or inappropriate to anyone in the salon will be asked to leave. Everyone has a right to feel safe.
  10. As per the Small Business and the Competition and Consumer Act, any problems with your service must be reported within 1 (one) week of the original service by phone call or in person. As per the Small Business and the Competition and Consumer Act, Mazee Hair will then fix the service or replace the product at no charge, within 1 (one) week of the report of the fault.
  11. All prices include GST. All prices are subject to variation without notice. To obtain a quote, please schedule a free consultation at Mazee Hair.
  12. Due to Victoriaโ€™s strict OH&S laws, all children under the age of 18 that are not receiving a service must remain seated and are not permitted to be on the salon floor.
  13. We work with hazardous chemicals, sharp and very hot tools. Your childโ€™s safety is important to us.
